Role: Project Manager and Lead Creative Concept Developer
I successfully oversaw the timely and budget-conscious completion of our website project, ensuring that all phases proceeded smoothly and efficiently. Collaborating closely with our developers, I made certain that every project goal was fully met while actively participating in quality assurance efforts to maintain a consistent and seamless user experience throughout the site.
Challenge: The previous website was not optimized for mobile devices, suffered from a lack of searchable content, and featured inadequate UI/UX design that detracted from usability. Additionally, there were no analytics capabilities in place to effectively track and analyze user engagement or behavior.
Action: We completely transformed the site to be fully mobile-responsive, updating all content and visuals to reflect a more upscale and modern aesthetic. Each visual element was carefully designed to be easily shareable across various platforms, significantly enhancing the overall user experience and reach.
Results: Since the site’s launch in January 2017, we have not only exceeded our previous traffic levels by a notable margin but also secured four new client accounts. Furthermore, the implementation of new analytics features enables us to track website visitors more effectively and use this data to inform ongoing improvements.
Higher Education Website Redesign
Client: Coyne College
Role: Lead Concept Designer for the Website
Challenge: Six months prior to the website launch, we introduced a new brand style that necessitated a comprehensive evolution of the client’s existing website in order to align with this updated and more modern aesthetic. The client’s primary goal was to significantly boost enrollment by enhancing SEO strategies and integrating informative infographics throughout the site.
Action: I utilized carefully designed wireframes to strategically restructure the website navigation, boosted the site’s social media presence through consistent engagement, and incorporated vibrant, engaging photography to create a stronger visual impact. Additionally, I implemented a more visually appealing and interactive Request for Information (RFI) feature to improve user experience and encourage prospective student inquiries.
Olivet Nazarene University
Client: Olivet Nazarene University
Role: Lead Designer and Art Director
I collaborated closely with the back-end developer to implement the design effectively.
Challenge: Our goal was to encourage students to return for their graduate degrees by enhancing the user experience to appeal to our target audience. We aimed to establish a distinct identity separate from the undergraduate program, increase enrollment, and improve the mobile experience for greater intuitiveness.
Action: Building on the brand identity established earlier in the year, I designed the overall look and feel of the website. We also organized a photoshoot, as the school had no existing photography to draw from.
Results: Over the first two years of partnership with Olivet Nazarene University, I contributed to a remarkable increase in web traffic, boosting average monthly visitors from 7,000 to 40,000.
Beauty industry responsive website design
Client: Paul Mitchell Schools
Role: Lead Art Director
I established the overall style and tone of the website while collaborating with developers to ensure project timelines were met.
Challenge: Building a website from scratch presented significant challenges, particularly as PMS lacked a strategic approach to connect directly with students. With PM being recognized for its commitment to train aspiring hairstylists and it’s reputation for innovation in hair care, I wanted to build a brand that would resonate well with the upcoming enrollment.
Action: I designed targeted landing pages and banners aimed at the demographic, directing users to the main website where they could request information and enroll in classes online. Recognizing that our audience was primarily young and likely accessing information via mobile devices, I prioritized creating a user-friendly experience.
St. George's University
Role: Lead Designer
Challenge: The client aimed to increase enrollment for the upcoming semester.
Action: I developed targeted digital banners and created a landing page that aligned with the established style and tone. This provided a dedicated space for potential students to request more information.
Results: The campaign resulted in a significant increase in inquiries, leading to a measurable rise in enrollment numbers for the semester. The client reported a 25% increase in requests for information compared to the previous term.

Client: Chicago Cubs & Olivet Nazarene University
Role: Art Director/Lead Designer
Challenge: The Chicago Cubs and Olivet Nazarene University aimed to highlight Ben Zobrist, an alumnus, during a significant season.
Action: I adapted the existing Olivet branding style and tone to create digital designs that maintained brand integrity while preserving clear calls to action.
Results: The Chicago Cubs won the 2017 World Series, and Ben Zobrist was named the World Series MVP.
Blue Cross Blue Shield Of Montana
Role: Lead Designer
Challenge: The objective was to create a distinct and engaging visual identity for Montanans on Pandora and other digital platforms, ensuring it resonated with the target audience.
Action: I developed the overall look and feel, focusing on elements that captured the essence of Montana's culture and lifestyle. This included creating cohesive graphics and tailored digital assets for various platforms.
Results: The new visual identity successfully enhanced user engagement and recognition, leading to increased interactions and positive feedback across digital channels.
